We are learning how to recite poetry

Our Courageous Christian was our Teach a Talent teacher on Friday. He recited the whole of the Tyger by William Blake. Then he taught us to recite lines from Macbeth by William Shakespeare.

Macbeth

I’m a Tiger!!

Here I am at school sitting on the mat. It's a beautiful day outside and I'm ruining it by sitting here. I only have one life this is no dress rehearsal. Any way I'll stop groaning and get to the exciting part…

Suddenly our teacher split in two and became a tree. Whoa what the!? Then the mat became a grassy clearing and all the other kids became trees and bushes…Um… either my eyes are playing tricks on me or this is my worst nightmare ever.

"WHAT! Did I just say nightmare?! Who am I kidding? This is the best day of my life!!" I shouted out loud. Then the door opens well more like a tree and in stepped Mr Wigglenose (our principal). He opened his mouth to say something but like every one else he went "CRACK!" And there in front of me was a gorilla.

"Well that's some improvement!" I giggled. The principal was extremely angry for he started to jump about fuming with anger. Then he charged away into the jungle.

Then I happened to look down - I had paws! And they were striped orange and black. I was on my hands and knees. I pounced and yes I said pounced over to a little pond… I looked in to see not a face of a boy but a tiger. "OH NO!" I groaned "OH NO OH NO OH NO! I'm a tiger!"

Then something strange happened. A familiar voice said "wake up Christian it's interval time."
