Come to Tonga
The second of our quickly filmed and edited advertisements. This group had to edit their video from the beginning again after their project didn't save properly. They showed real determination (but I do regret not seeing the bloopers!).

Football
Something I was pleased with was my shooting at the goal.
I really enjoyed playing the game at the end.
Something I found hard was shooting from long distances.

How the S.S.S.S. Works
![]() |
| Diagram by Junathan |
Well, the S.S.S.S. has installed jetpack, snack-system and movie theatre included. For protection the S.S.S.S. has a secret button to release your own little body guard Yoda from Star- wars. Also connected to the jetpack, is a switch on the bottom of one the jets that turns the jet pack into a hovering lazy boy entertainment chair for your movie theater system too. Oh I nearly forgot to say that the lazy boy has a force field. The force field is to protect you from space monsters.
The S.S.S.S. is for highly qualified astronauts so kids, don't try this at home.

Netball Dodgeball
Parwinder and Xavier were our class bloggers this week. They decided to take photos and make a slideshow of one of our favourite fitness games: netball dodgeball. They did a super job!

Swimming a Mile
Xavier was one of the many Room 18 children who completed their 200 metre swim at the Frimley Aquatic Centre a while back. Here he is pictured with Ben (after they both achieved the 200 metres). Below is a great poem Xavier wrote about the experience. He uses descriptive language well to show emotion, colour and personality. His writing has voice.

SWIMMING A MILE
Thump, Thump, Thump.
My heart was beating like crazy
I was next in line for swimming the 200m challenge.
I was about to back out but...
the whistle went.
Damn, I thought as I dived into the ice cold pool.
I was doing well until the last 5 metres.
My legs were so tired they stopped working!!!
Oh no.
I'm mince meat.
But as I was thinking I'm mince meat
I had done it!!!

Fish for Dinner
The Gruffalos performed their play "Fish for Dinner". They are learning to act with expression and clear voices. I am impressed with their timing and teamwork.
They would love any comments giving feedback on their performance :)
