This is my design, and I used a design with checkers behind it.I used a ruler. Something I was pleased with was how it looked at the end because it looks 3D. Something I could improve on is getting the squares the same size.I really enjoyed learning how to draw an  accurate square.

Olivia's Mathletics poster

This is my Mathletics poster. It is a made up  Design  in the middle and Design 31 round the outside. I had to measure the page and use my geometry skills. I used a Compass, Protractor and a ruler to do my Design.
I think my Design has lots of symmetry and I hope I come in a good place. I hope you like my Design.

Reading Number Lines (With Missing Numbers)

18 square metre rectangles

Today Olivia and Breanna did maths with Mr Moriarty and Miss Hill. We are very proud of what we have done. WALT work out areas of rectangles.We learnt what factors were and the measurements of rectangles.The factors of 18 are 2, 9, 1, 18, 3 and 6. We made 3 rectangles that all equalled 18 square metres. We would love any comments from anyone who visits our blog. Because we did hard work. We took a photo of our learning to show you our work.
