Breanna's strategy

My strategy is a double and half strategy and I have worked out an equation to solve 18 x 5 with double and half. I have two equations and I have done it on paint !!!

Circle of Life

Our literacy starter this week has been based around the song "Circle of Life" by Elton John. Here it is for those who want to sing along!

18 square metre rectangles

Today Olivia and Breanna did maths with Mr Moriarty and Miss Hill. We are very proud of what we have done. WALT work out areas of rectangles.We learnt what factors were and the measurements of rectangles.The factors of 18 are 2, 9, 1, 18, 3 and 6. We made 3 rectangles that all equalled 18 square metres. We would love any comments from anyone who visits our blog. Because we did hard work. We took a photo of our learning to show you our work.
