VolcanoBoom Bang! A volcano had erupted and a big cloud of ash filled the sky. There was a big explosion! People looked up and screamed there were rocks blasting out of the volcano. They tumbled down. People ran away from the lava and rocks.
They called this a landslide
because it destroyed the whole forest. They say that 57 people died from that. After the day it happened, the people hurt and cried. There was dry lava everywhere, everyone was picking up ash and rocks.
It was really sad. It happened in 1980 on May 18th.
